By accessing or using DwellHQ (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Material changes to these Terms require re-acceptance; we will request it the next time you sign in.
DwellHQ is a home management application. You can use it to:
You can sign up with email and password or with Google. Email-and-password accounts require email verification before you can use the Service. We offer optional two-factor authentication using TOTP for added protection. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
The Service is not for users under 13. See our Privacy Policy for details.
DwellHQ offers the following plans:
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial of Personal. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card numbers. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If you downgrade to Free, read access to your existing data is preserved, but some writes are gated by plan. Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact support. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice.
You retain ownership of everything you put into DwellHQ, including homes, rooms, items, documents, photos, and research notes. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You can export a complete account-wide snapshot of your data at any time from Settings. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
You agree not to:
The Service is under active development. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features and availability may change as we improve the product. We recommend keeping your own records for anything critical. We are not liable for downtime or data loss.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DwellHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
AI-generated suggestions, including AI Home Setup and AI Task Suggestions, are informational only. You are responsible for verifying recommendations before acting on them, particularly for safety-critical systems such as smoke alarms, water heaters, HVAC servicing, and electrical work. DwellHQ is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion starts a 30-day restore window; signing in during that window prompts you to restore, after which your account is back exactly as you left it.
After the 30-day window, your data is permanently removed, except where retention is legally required (for example, billing records). Export your data before initiating deletion; the restore window is for reversing deletion, not for extending export access.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes require re-acceptance; the next time you sign in after a material change, you will see a short summary of what changed and be asked to re-accept before continuing. Non-material updates (typos, clarifications, formatting) are made in place and reflected in the “Last updated” date.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@dwellhq.app.
DwellHQ offers optional AI-assisted features (AI Home Setup and AI Task Suggestions). Details of how these features handle your data are described in the Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time from Settings. AI output is informational only and is not safety-critical guidance; see section 8.
You can invite other people to a home so you can manage it together. When you invite someone, you are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to access that home’s data. Invited users accept these Terms on their own sign-up. You can remove a collaborator at any time from the home’s settings.
