Our Commitment

DwellHQ is committed to making our home maintenance platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.

What We Do

  • Design with accessible color contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Provide text alternatives for icons and non-text content
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes to support screen readers
  • Maintain visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Support browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Test our components with automated accessibility tools (axe-core) as part of our development process

Known Limitations

While we work to ensure accessibility across the entire application, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to identify and resolve these issues. If you encounter any barriers, please let us know.

Conformance Status

DwellHQ is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are committed to continued improvement and regularly audit our application for accessibility compliance.
